We’ve been tailoring Bookinglayer’s features in close coordination with our clients to help them overcome challenges that they face on a day to day basis. One of these challenges being the decision of whether a shared dorm room should be mixed gender (co-ed) or if it should be a fixed gender (male or female). We are excited to share that this decision has become a whole lot easier through Bookinglayer’s new Smart Gender Roomtype feature. This feature enables shared dorm rooms to be flexible in their gender configuration so that the first booking that comes in will determine whether a room is either a male or female only room. This way shared dorm rooms are less static in their configuration and are adaptable to the bookings that are coming in.
This feature is not only beneficial for hostels, but also properties such as retreats where many of the rooms are shared. This is an effective method to ensure that two or more people that are sharing a room are of the same gender. This automation takes a great deal of work away from managers and employees who would otherwise need to allocate guests to their rooms manually. Here is a smart system that will do the job for you.
Bookinglayer helps businesses like camps and retreats with an all-in-one reservation system.
